Video WorkShop is capable of being interfaced to virtually any measuring
micro-scope. Caliper Designs, Inc. has developed internal interfaces for all
scale / encoder systems.
Video-Workshop is easy to install. Video-WorkShop arrives installed in a DELL
computer, along with the necessary interfaces. Normal installation consists of:
Connect the scales. Set the scale resolution.
Our Video Edge Detector is ready to go after a simple calibration procedure.
This allows the use of the system without the bother of crosshair positioning,
which makes for a smoother, faster process.
Auto-Enter is standard on Video-WorkShop. This option takes a point after you
have started a measurement routine, and the micro-scope has stopped moving. This
mode greatly increases the inspection speed especially when coupled with our
Looping function.
Video-WorkShop comprises a counter card installed in a Dell computer, a 17
in.LCD monitor and the appropriate interfacing cables. Additional scale
electronics are available if required at additional cost
