INTERFACES
The final link between a computer and a measuring system is an encoder
interface. Encoders come in two basic technologies, square wave and sine wave.
Interpolex solves the problem of converting a sine wave encoder into square
waves that PCI-ScaleTrack, or any computer based counter card, can understand.
Interpolex was designed to make encoder retrofits as easy as possible. The units
are shipped with the system connector, to allow quick connection to the existing
system. Also Interpolex is completely computer powered. The unit is shipped with
a cable to allow direct connection to Caliper Designs, Inc. PCI-ScaleTrack
counter card.
Interpolex’s small size allows easy installation into any system.
